The candidate should already be a confident and proven MS SQL DBA with a minimum of 3 years experience in managing a SQL Server environment, either solely or as part of a team. We offer a friendly, open working environment without too much fuss about hierarchy.

• Teaching is done through a combination of intensive group or one-on-one instruction, hands-on labs, question and answer sessions and Independent study.
• Jobs can be scheduled to run at a set time or when a specific event occurs.

You will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and demonstrate the ability to make key technical decisions on your own accord. Update Statistics is used to force a recalculation of query optimization statistics for a table or indexed view. Query optimization statistics are automatically recomputed, but in some cases, a query may benefit from updating those statistics more frequently.
